We’ve had this annual trip planned long before we started looking at busses, so it comes at a good time for a break. The bus is in getting updated/fixed and we are on the beach.
We really like Puerto Vallarta and this is out third trip down. Even though there are plenty of touristy things to do, it doesn’t take long to find the local spots and feel like you are getting a look at real life in Mexico. Walking the malecon in the evening is fun. All of the locals and there families come out and everything is not aimed at the gringo.
It may be a while before we can get down this way again so we are enjoying every minute of our time here. Plus it’s not a bad place to spend your birthday.
